Microgrants for Foster Youth
Dreams33’s microgrant program is open to any college-aged student, who is a current or former foster care student, looking for funds for a particular need. These can include, but are not limited to: a home computer or laptop; sorority or fraternity funds; a printer; additional materials for a class; educational subscription or app; an occupational membership; computer software; a workshop or training. A student does not need to be receiving a full Dreams33 grant in order to apply for a microgrant.
Whether you need a new software program for a class, a comfortable desk chair, money to join a campus club, a new outfit for your job interview, or something else entirely – Dreams33 wants to help you get what you need to stay on track with your educational and career goals.
What is a Microgrant?
A Dreams33 Microgrant is a cash grant to pay for unexpected academic or vocational-related expenses. Any high school or college student who is currently enrolled is eligible to apply.
