Grace Nevarez Ortiz is a Bay Area native with a passion for building meaningful connections and creating opportunities for others to thrive. Growing up in a low-income, single-parent, immigrant household, she developed a deep understanding of the challenges many face in pursuing education and career goals. That lived experience fuels her commitment to helping others break barriers and reach their full potential.
As a Dreams33 Scholar Advocate, Grace is dedicated to supporting Dreams33 scholars by connecting them with resources, guidance, and encouragement to help them meet their educational goals. She plans to use her marketing expertise to expand the organization’s reach, share its inspiring stories, and strengthen the community of support for current and future scholars.
Over the years, Grace has worked with organizations in education, youth development, Workforce Development and community engagement, bringing a warm, approachable style to every project she takes on. She loves creating inclusive spaces, telling stories that inspire, and collaborating with diverse groups to turn ideas into impact. Whether she’s facilitating a workshop, organizing a community event, or designing a marketing campaign, Grace approaches her work with empathy, creativity, and a dedication to service.
Outside of work, she enjoys exploring the Bay Area’s neighborhoods, discovering local coffee shops, and spending time with family and friends. She believes in leaving every space a little better than she found it, always with “a little touch of Grace.”
