Supporting children and young adults—especially those in foster care—has been a personal and lifelong passion of mine. As a foster parent for over six years, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing the resilience, strength, and potential in young people who have experienced more challenges than most of us can imagine. That experience has deeply shaped my belief that every child deserves the opportunity to pursue higher education and to chase their dreams without being limited by financial barriers.
I joined the board of Dreams33 because I believe in its mission at the core: to empower youth from foster care to thrive in college and beyond. Education opens doors—not just to careers, but to confidence, independence, and a future filled with possibility. I’m honored to serve as Vice President of the Board and to help guide our efforts in making college more accessible, less stressful, and more successful for the students we serve.
