We all love food, as a first generation graduate student I have to be very frugal and tight with my finances which means I don’t often get the chance to splurge money on take-out. I love trying new restaurants and cuisines because food unites people and cultures. We underestimate the value of having a savory delicious meal after a long day’s work or the meaningfulness of grabbing lunch with a friend you haven’t seen in months. I am asking for a GrubHub gift card because food and the joy it brings, experiences it creates is what fills my bucket just a little bit during hard times or stressful moments of life.
