Sarah wishes for Apple AirPods.

Ever since I was young and in foster care, music has been an integral part to my mental escape. Even now in my late 20s, when I’m feeling particularly depressed or even hyped up, I turned to music. In fact, I even use sound for healing as I have leveraged bilateral stimulation music to help process thoughts and relax. Additionally, I am someone who is blind so I use a lot of audio assistive devices that speak to me and when in public or around others, it is much more supportive to be able to hear my technology in my ears. I currently have first generation Apple AirPod pros that I was able to buy when I got my stimulus check in 2020. I use them for work, socializing, working out, zoning out, and for having private access to my accessible technology as a blind person. They are starting to, after five years, make this static noise when I put them in and people can’t hear me as well on the microphone. It would be amazing to get support purchasing a new pair of AirPod pro 3, especially since it looks like they have new features now! It would be amazing to have the live translation feature that the newer AirPod pros have these days. Not only could’ve helped for work but I would be able to conduct more tasks independently since communication is so crucial for navigating my disability.
