Summer wishes for gift cards.

My name is Summer, and I am a single mother of three children and a current student at Stanford University with a 4.0 GPA. I transferred here to continue my education and build a better future for my family, but that transition brought many new financial responsibilities that I am still working hard to manage. As someone who has overcome foster care, homelessness, addiction, and many other challenges, I’ve learned how to stay strong and keep pushing forward no matter what. Right now, my focus is on maintaining my education while making sure my children are safe, supported, and cared for every single day. I chose this wish because having a gift card for stores like Amazon, Target, or Walmart would give me something I don’t often get: a sense of relief. It would allow me to buy groceries, household items, and basic necessities without the constant stress of stretching every dollar. This wish would give me exactly that, and it would mean more to me than I can fully put into words.
