Dreams33 Scholarships are designed for foster or former foster youth thinking of their higher education goals. Recipients of these scholarships could receive partial or full scholarships for college, including tuition, room and board, books, and more. Recipients will also receive ongoing support from Dreams33 staff and board.

Application Age: 13-19

Services Area: San Mateo County & Placer County


  1. Must be in or formally in the foster care system
  2. Currently enrolled in school and in good standing

Documentation needed for application:

  1. Dependency or Ward Letter
  2. Copy of transcripts
  3. Letter of Recommendation
  4. Personal Statement
  5. Identification

Application Period:
February 1st – April 30th for funding in the following fall.

Annual Grant Amount:
Customized based on college acceptance and choice.
